Lies Exposed Under Oath about Satanic Worship Ritual
In an unexpected but welcome development, the leader of a group known as the Satanic Grotto testified in court that he is not in possession of the Sacred Eucharist.
The legal development that unfolded in Kansas State District Court in Leavenworth this morning puts to rest much of the grave concerns expressed by the Catholic Church in Kansas. Advertising for the satanic worship ritual set to take place on Friday, March 28th, at the Kansas State Capitol, caused widespread concerns that the centerpiece of the event would be the desecration of a Consecrated Host.
"We now have a sworn statement before a judge that the group does not possess a validly Consecrated Host," said Chuck Weber, executive director of the Kansas Catholic Conference, the public policy voice of the Catholic Bishops of Kansas. "This alleviates a major concern. It is still sad that a group can get permission for the use of Statehouse grounds when their sole purpose is the mockery and denigration of not just Catholics, but people from all denominations.
Archbishop Naumann of the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas had initiated a civil lawsuit aimed at retrieving the Eucharist, following claims the Satanic group had Consecrated Hosts and Wine in their possession. A civil legal proceeding was set to move forward today before a Kansas State District Court Judge.
Shortly before the hearing began, a solution was proposed and agreed to by both parties which would include the Satanic Grotto leader testifying under oath that neither he nor members of his group were in possession of the Eucharist.
The resolution of the lawsuit still leaves unresolved what might happen on Friday, March 28th, on Kansas State Capitol grounds. The group had initially applied for and received permission to hold their ritual inside the State Capitol.
A few days later, the gathering was moved outdoors by the Governor's office.
Then on Tuesday, acting on the advice of State Attorney General Kris Kobach, top legislative leaders unanimously agreed to pass new guidelines regarding the use of state property for events that would prevent the ritual from happening since it was believed to involve the destruction of stolen property or other unlawful activities.
Because there have now been assurances under oath that nothing has been stolen-the Eucharist-it is unclear what will happen at the Statehouse on Friday the 28th.
Archbishop Naumann is calling upon the faithful to pray for the spiritual conversion of those promoting and participating in the satanic worship ritual. The Satanists have also promised to defile a Bible, a crucifix and other Christian symbols.
"These actions are an affront to all Christians. I urge all Catholics, other Christians and people of good will not to succumb to anger or violence, as that would be cooperating with the devil. Rather, approach this situation with confidence in God's ultimate victory over Satan, sin, and death as stated in Matthew 16:18."
The Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas has scheduled a Eucharistic Holy Hour to begin at 11 a.m. at Assumption Catholic Church, located directly across the street from the Capitol, followed by noon Mass. Similar Holy Hours and Masses are planned at the Catholic Cathedrals in Wichita, Salina and Dodge City.
