The 1st Congress on Religious Tourism - Jubilee Year 2025 in Colombia, entitled "Tourism and Development: Evangelization and Peace in the Territories" , will take place from May 5 to 19, 2025 .

Congress organizers include the Colombian Bishops’ Conference, the World Religious Tourism Network, and the Minuto de Dios organization.
The Jubilee in the Catholic Church is an event of spiritual renewal celebrated every 25 years. The Jubilee of 2025, under the theme "Pilgrims of Hope," will be an opportunity to reflect on faith, forgiveness, and hope in a global context of transformation and challenges.
The traveling conference "Tourism and Development: Evangelization and Peace in the Territories" seeks to address the relationship between faith, tourism, and territorial development, promoting peace and reconciliation in areas affected by violence. Throughout its tour of different regions of Colombia, the event will bring together religious leaders, tourism experts, and community representatives.

Organizers - This traveling event will tour several cities and is organized by the Global Network of Religious Tourism, a program of the Tourism and Society Think Tank, and the El Minuto de Dios Organization Corporation, with the important collaboration of the Vice Ministry of Tourism.

Aim - 
Strengthen and promote religious tourism destinations nationally and internationally.

Speakers: Religious tourism experts, academics, and community leaders will participate in lectures, community meetings, and visits to religious sites.
National and international journalists: They will visit selected destinations, conduct interviews with authorities, and document experiences for dissemination.
