The children of the Santa Marta pediatric dispensary met Pope Francis, a few days before Christmas for his birthday. A tradition, carried out by the charity that for 102 years has assisted communities in difficulty with pediatric care and the donation of basic necessities, which saw 150 families celebrate the Pope with a song and the creation of a "symbolic" holy door, made of words.
A tradition just before Christmas for Pope Francis' birthday, he received a gift and a cake with candles, which were then blown out with the children. The party then moved to the atrium of the Paul VI Hall, with games, entertainment and a final picnic lunch.
After the delivery of a gift and the blowing of candles on the cake by the Pope, the party continued in the atrium of the Paul VI Hall. There were animations and games, photos with Santa Claus and then the delivery of gifts: toys, a package with food products, panettone and a calendar with photos of the dispensary. To conclude the morning, a picnic lunch with pizza, nuggets, muffins and fruit.
