Pope Francis Receives Argentina's Vice-President Victoria Villarruel at the Vatican - VIDEO

On Monday, October 14, 2024, Pope Francis received the Catholic Vice-President of his home country of Argentina. Victoria Villarruel, age 49, was welcomed by the pope at the Vatican. The VP released a video of the encounter. She said, “Nice to see you.” Pope Francis responded in a humorous way: “Very well, still alive. Are you surviving?" Villarruel replied: “I’m so happy to see you standing,” (rather than in a wheel chair)  The vice president's meeting that lasted an hour. The Supreme Pontiff asked her “not to give up and not to lose common sense.”
