#BreakingNews Israeli Missile Destroys a Catholic Church in Lebanon and 8 People Die


The papal charity Aid to the Church in Need reported that at least eight were killed in airstrike on a Catholic church in Lebanon which destroyed church. Since Israel has started attacking Lebanon over 2,100  have been killed and over 42,000  have been killed in Gaza (including 16,000 children), while about 1,200 were killed in Israel on Oct. 7th to initiate their retaliation. The church was sheltering displaced people was hit in a missile attack, killing at least eight people in Derdghaya, southern Lebanon on Wednesday, October 9th, according to local Church sources.
The sources told Catholic charity Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) that the church and two of its adjoining halls used as a refuge in the Melkite Greek Catholic Eparchy of Tyre collapsed in the airstrike.
They added that another missile hit a priest’s house and a three-storey building housing parish offices, completely destroying them.

I call for an immediate ceasefire in all theatres of conflict in the Middle East, including Lebanon. Let us #PrayTogether for the Lebanese people, especially for residents in the south who have been forced to flee their homes. May they soon be able to return and live in #Peace.
