In Bogotá, Colombia, during a Eucharistic Adoration, over 300 believers had the impression that the Blessed Sacrament was pulsating like a heart. The priest and the believers even had tears in their eyes.
An amateur video recording shows that the Blessed Sacrament in the monstrance appears to be pulsating (see video below).
In the Saint Joachim Barrio Church Las Ferias in the Colombian capital Bogotá, over 300 Catholics gathered for a day of prayer for Venezuela and Colombia, during which a Eucharistic adoration was also held. The video shows the priest Juvel Zuluaga Agustino holding the monstrance and unable to take his eyes off the subtle pulsing of the Blessed Sacrament. The priest appears completely overwhelmed and moved to his existential depths, fighting back tears. "Infocvaticana", a Spanish-language Catholic news portal, writes of a "Eucharistic miracle" - without using a question mark.
In the video you can hear a woman praying freely, her voice also sounds completely overwhelmed and close to tears. In the background you can hear quieter voices of other believers praying freely. The phenomenon occurred twice, lasting over 30 minutes (interrupted by a break) during a special form of the rosary that is prayed in prostration.
On its Facebook page. In a statement, the parish officials explained: "Brothers and sisters, this is an undeniable and beautiful manifestation of the REAL PRESENCE OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST IN THE HOLY EUCHARIST and of His constant company and love." "May this 'manifestation' lead us to appreciate more this immense gift from Heaven, the HOLY EUCHARIST, and serve to affirm our faith... May our lives be consumed like a candle as apostles of the Holy Eucharist and of reparation for so many crimes, sacrileges and indifferences that offend Him daily. Today we thank God infinitely for his manifestation and give all glory, power and honor to the KING OF KINGS, the LORD OF LORDS. Praise be to Jesus in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar!!!”
The videos went viral on social networks and received a lot of approval. Colombian newspapers also reported on the unusual incident. The diocese has not yet responded, but the incident may be reviewed by the bishop.
