The body of priest Isaiah Ramirez was found on the bridge in San Fernando, Jalisco, Mexico. “We had learned of the disappearance of Father Isaías Ramirez González, belonging to the Archdiocese of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chis. , but was born in Guadalajara, Jal., and had arrived in this city for health reasons a few months ago. He was last seen last Thursday, August 15. Today, with sadness, we received the news that his body was found lifeless. As we wait for the relevant authorities to indicate to us the causes of his death, we ask God for the eternal repose of this priest, and we offer our condolences to his family, along with our prayer, that the Lord may give them comfort and strength at this time of sorrow,” he shared on his social networks.
The last time the priest was seen was on August 15 when he was leaving his home and it was near the bridge that Ramírez González's vehicle was found, which showed no signs of violence.
 However, both the aforementioned cardinal and the Church of Guadalajara have reported the death. In a statement shared on August 17, the Jalisco Prosecutor's Office reported that the priest, a man who apparently had health problems, had not been located. "This social representation took note of the case and in attention to the relatives, the agent of the Public Ministry opened an investigation file so that search operations could be deployed in a coordinated manner in various parts of the Metropolitan Area, as well as in the vicinity where the victim resides," it read. While in one of the complaints shared in the Facebook group of the Church Josefino de San José de los Poetas you can read: “The priest Isaiah is not in good health , which makes his disappearance even more worrying for all of us. His absence is deeply felt by his family and by the entire Josephinian community, who are plunged into anguish and uncertainty.” The cause of the priest's death is still unknown.
