Pope Francis and the Roman Curia Begin Spiritual Exercises for Lent - Suspending the Pope's Activities at the Vatican

 

The Holy Father invites the Cardinals resident in Rome, the Heads of Dicastery and the Superiors of the Roman Curia, to personally experience a period of Spiritual Exercises, suspending work and gathering in prayer in the first week of Lent: from Sunday, Feb. 18th, in the afternoon until 6pm in the afternoon of Friday  February 23rd, 2024. 18 - 23 February 2024

During that week, all of the Holy Father's commitments will be suspended, including the General Audience on Wednesday 21 February.
