Living Rosary 2023: 'Not miracles, but brave people', they ask in the face of violence in Guanajuato, Mexico.

The forced disappearance of people, violence, extortion and the lack of values are some of the tribulations suffered by many families in the area who participated in the traditional Living Rosary at the León stadium. Where they reflected on the need to pray and promote peace and security between families and between people.
A prayer was also offered for the population of Guerrero that is suffering after the passage of Hurricane Otis .

We do not need miracles, we need brave people who seek peace," said Fr. Roberto Guerrero , coordinator of the religious ceremony and parish priest of the church of Our Lady of Czestochowa , in the Bugambilias neighborhood.
The Living Rosary has been a tradition in the city since 1954, although it was interrupted for two years due to the pandemic. It was resumed last year.
When the date for the event was announced two weeks ago, an influx of between 20,000 and 30,000 people was expected. In the end, the stadium was three-quarters full.
