The world famous former soccer (football) player and current president of Real Valladolid (Soccer club), Ronaldo Nazario, reveals on his social networks that he was baptized into the Catholic Church at the age of 46. He is one of the world’s greatest soccer players and is from Brazil.
To his over 29 Million Instagram fans he wrote:
Today is a very special day. I was baptized! 🙏🏾
The Christian faith has always been a fundamental part of my life, since childhood, even though I had not yet been baptized.
With the sacrament, I feel truly regenerated as a child of God - in a new, more conscious, deeper way.
I renew my commitment to follow the path of good, of my own free will, believing in the love of Jesus, in supportive love.
