WATCH Actor Mark Wahlberg's Inspirational Today Show Interview on Ash Wednesday Shows the Importance of Lent and Fasting!


 Famous actor and producer, Mark Wahlberg, age 51, went on NBC's the Today Show to discuss Lent. Wahlberg who was born in Boston, Massachusetts, is a practicing Catholic. He and his wife Rhea (married in 2009) have four children: Ella, 19, Michael, 16, Brendan, 14, and Grace, 13.

On Ash Wednesday, Mark Wahlberg gave an interview to the Today Show about why faith is important to him, and working with the Catholic prayer app Hallow (https://hallow.com/). He also shares if he still wakes up in the middle of the night and why he moved with his family to Nevada.

On Ash Wednesday, which begins the 40 day  period of lent, a time of prayer and fasting, Wahlberg encouraged viewers to take up a lenten penance. He also shared a video on his Instagram, which is below the Today Show interview:
