Pope Francis Visits Miraculous Image of Our Lady Before September 13th Trip to Kazakhstan with Full Schedule from the Vatican

Pope Francis made his traditional visit to the Roman Basilica of Saint Mary Major to entrust his 38th Apostolic Journey abroad to the Blessed Virgin Mary. This is on the eve of his departure for Kazakhstan on Tuesday, Sept. 13th, 2022.  He prayed for a while before the ancient miraculous icon of Maria Salus Populi Romani in the early afternoon before returning to the Vatican, according to the Holy See Press Office.
