LISTEN to a Beautiful Anthem Sung by the Choir - Music Composed for Queen Elizabeth II's Funeral "Who shall separate us..." - It will Touch Your Heart!
A new Anthem was composed for Queen Elizabeth II's funeral on September 19th, 2022. The choir sang the heavenly Anthem: "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?" The words come from the bible: Romans 8: 35a, 38b-end. The music was composed by the Scottish, Sir James MacMillan, CBE (b 1959).
Lyrics: Neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Alleluia! Amen.
I was deeply honoured to be invited to write a new anthem 'Who Shall Separate Us?' for the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. She was a constant presence in my life and an inspiration to countless millions across the globe. https://t.co/opjUnumI6f
