Prayers Answered as Catholic Priest Kidnapped in Nigeria, Fr. Felix, is Released Unharmed

Fr. Felix Zakari Fidson has been released by his kidnappers on the 3rd of May 2022. Father Felix Zakari Fidson, from the diocese of Zaria, Kaduna state, was kidnapped on March 24th, 2022, after leaving his residence.

 "We ask the prayers of the faithful for the release of Fr. Felix Zakari Fidson and other abductees, on this day of the Solemnity of the Annunciation", said the statement signed by the Chancellor of the diocese of Zaria, Fr. Patrick Adikwu Odeh. Another Catholic priest from Nigeria was also abducted in the same month, on March 8th. Fr. Joseph Akete Bako, parish priest of St John's Catholic Church in Kudenda, Kaduna State, was taken.

 Rev. Fr. Felix Zakari Fidson, the priest of the Catholic Diocese of Zaria, pastor of St. Ann’s, Zango/Taman Parish, was abducted by terrorists at Zango Tama in Giwa local government area near Zaria of Kaduna State. He has approximately spent 37 days in hostage.
