Pope Francis uses a Wheelchair due to Torn Ligament in his Knee

Pope Francis was pushed in a wheelchair during a meeting with religious on Thursday, May 5, 2022, in Paul VI Hall at the Vatican. The pope who is 85-years-old has a torn ligament in his knee. He has thus had trouble walking.

 The meeting was with the International Union of Superiors General (UISG). The Holy Father has lately expressed regret to visitors that he has been unable to walk around and greet them. He also revealed in an interview that he will be having an operation on the knee.
