Pope Francis Appoints Cardinal Czerny and Sister Alessandra Smerilli in Leading Roles at the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development

Appointment of the Prefect, the Secretary and the Under-Secretary of the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development

The Holy Father has appointed His Most Reverend Eminence Cardinal Michael Czerny, S.I., hitherto ad interim prefect of the same Dicastery, Prefect of the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development.

The Holy Father has appointed the Most Reverend Sister Alessandra Smerilli , FMA, currently ad interim secretary of the same Dicastery , as Secretary of the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development .

The Holy Father has appointed Fr. Fabio Baggio , CS, currently under-secretary of the Migrants and Refugees Section of the same Dicastery, under-secretary of the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development, also with the responsibility of the Migrants and Refugees Section and Special Projects .
