#BreakingNews US Bishops Approve 3 Year Eucharistic Revival and will Host Eucharistic Congress in 2024

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops has approved its "Eucharistic Revival" during their Fall Assembly. They also approved the document, “The Mystery of the Eucharist in the Life of the Church.” The Eucharistic revival involves a strategic plan for a three-year campaign.
The voting resulted in 201 to 17 in favor of the revival campaign, and five abstentions.
UPDATE: The approved document does not mention politicians and denying Communion. Nor does it does give definite directives on who is permitted to receive the Eucharist, and does not make clear indication about denying the sacrament to Catholics in public life. “Lay people who exercise some form of public authority have a special responsibility to embody Church teaching,” it says.
The campaign involves production of new teaching materials, training for diocesan and parish leaders, the launch of a revival website, and the selection of a group of 50 priests who will travel around the USA to preach about the Eucharist.
This will culminate with a National Eucharistic Congress in June 2024 in Indianapolis. Bishop-designate Andrew Cozzens of Crookston, Minnesota, announced Wednesday. Bishop Cozzens, leads the revival campaign as chairman of the USCCB’s Committee on Evangelization and Catechesis.
The launch of the revival will be June 19, 2022, Corpus Christi.
