Wow Beautiful New Mother House for Catholic Nuns in Bangladesh Witnessing for Christ Where Only .2% are Catholic
Bangladesh, to the east of India, is a South Asian country with a population of 164.7 million people. As of 2016, there are approximately 350,000, approximately 0.2 percent of the population of Catholics. About 60% come from "tribals", members of minority tribes. Bangladesh is a majority Muslim nation. The country is made up of eight dioceses including two archdioceses. Often the minority of Christians are persecuted.

NEW MOTHER HOUSE FOR NUNS
The Catechist Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary ( CIC ) are popularly known as the "Shanti rani Sisters Congregations'' and were established in 1952.
This local Catholic nun congregation has been working in Bangladesh from 1952 to till now by helping the Catholic church of Bangladesh. There are more than 450 nuns working in different sectors such as educations, health, awareness, preaching the Holy Gospel, and a few charitable activities around the Bangladesh. Day by day many girls come to join this congregation as dedicated nuns. This building is used for apostolic working purposes including formation of new nuns and as a training house also retired nuns will live in this house. On 01/10/2021 the new Buildings, inauguration and blessing ceremony was held by his Excellency Most Rev. Archbishop George Cochere ( Vatican Ambassador to Bangladesh) and Bishop: Sebastian Tudu Diocese of Dinajpur Bangladesh .and many priests, nuns, and lay Christians joined this inauguration Holy Mass and cultural program.
