Sister Scholastica Gomez C.I.C works at Bhabanipur Catholic Parish and an assistant teacher of Bonpara St. Joseph School and College. Sister Scholastica Japmala Gomez, who is working at Bhabanipur Catholic Parish in Natore district, was attacked by a robbers groups on her way back to Bhabanipur Catholic Parish from
Bonpara Catholic Parish on Sunday evening 22/08/2021.
The robbers group has taken away her mobile phone, watch, money and handbag. Her left eye was seriously injured. Including sexual harassment.
According to the Bonpara Police Investigation Center in Baraigram, Sister Scholastica has been given first
aid. However, her left eye was seriously injured. Abdul Barek, sub-inspector of the Bonpara police investigation center, said efforts were being made to identify the culprit. However, it was not possible to identify the hijacker yet.
