This morning he died at 11.53 in the morning in Warsaw, Father Michala Losa, the 31-year-old Orionine priest who faced his terminal illness while testifying his faith in God from his hospital bed in Warsaw.
Fr. Michala Losa, FDP, died June 17 in the morning, the Congregation of the Orionine Fathers said in a Facebook post.
On May 22, Pope Francis granted the necessary dispensations for perpetual profession as Son of Divine Providence and, the following day, he was ordained a deacon and priest in the oncology ward of the Warsaw military hospital. Msgr. Marek Solarczyk, auxiliary bishop of Warsaw-Prague officiated the ceremony.
His gesture and his determination to celebrate the Mass, from his hospital bed, "to be even more united to Christ", have become a testimony of faith that has reached all parts of the world and has united many in prayer.
On the day he was ordained, he said: “Praised be Jesus Christ! Thank you for all your prayers, and I hope you continue praying. I bless all of you in the name of the Father & the Son & the Holy Spirit."

"The news," said Father Tarcisio Vieira, general director of the Opera Don Orione, "we knew it would come, but it leaves us equally sad. However, we know that it was not death that took away his life, but it was he who wanted to give it out of love for Christ and the poor. This message from him and his testimony has taught us something and we will do it so that they do not get lost. We thank the Lord for having given us as a witness of great faith and love. "
