#BreakingNews Death Toll from Largest Mass Shooting in US rises to 58 with 515 Injured - Pope Francis sends Prayers....

A Mass Shooting on Las Vegas Strip has Killed at least 58 people, and wounded 515 people. Police say officers killed the gunman on 32nd floor of hotel across from outdoor concert.  Police ID the person as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock; who has no history. Shooting erupted on last night at the Route 91 Harvest festival. This total makes it the deadliest shooting in modern U.S. history. The "nonstop gunfire," according to one witness, sent more than 22,000 country music fans running for their lives. There was a combination of rifles and handguns at the scene, and one of the sources said there were 19 weapons in the room. They plugged wounds with their bare hands and used their clothing to try to stop each other's bleeding. At least one man described a stranger who died in his arms. The outdoor area is known as Las Vegas Village, across the strip from the Mandalay Bay and the Luxor hotels.  It's believed Paddock checked in as a hotel guest. Las Vegas police said 406 people were taken to local hospitals after the shooting. The death toll surpassed the 49 from the Orlando nightclub shooting that also left dozens wounded in June 2016, when the 29-year-old gunman was shot and killed by police. Las Vegas's casinos, nightclubs and shopping venues draw some 3.5 million visitors from around the world each year. The area was packed with visitors when the shooting broke out shortly after 10 p.m. local time.
