An EgyptAir flight has disappeared over Mediterranean. According to reports it disappeared from radar a minutes before landing. The 66 people were on the flight, 56 passengers, and crew members are all presumed dead - Body parts from the plane have been found. EgyptAir Airbus A320 disappeared from the radar on flight from Paris to Cairo.
Reports from the airline says the aircraft disappeared from radar about 3 am (local time). Egyptian military claims to have received an SOS message. The passengers were mainly Egyptians, but there are also French, British, Iraqis and Saudis. (Vatican Radio) Pope Francis has sent a telegram expressing his condolences for the loss of EgyptAir Flight MS-804, which crashed into the Mediterranean Sea in the night between Wednesday and Thursday, claiming the lives of 66 people - 56 passengers and 10 crewmembers.
