HURRICANE ISAAC has affected over 800000 over 5
states. This hurricane came down on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 as a Category 1
and has had winds at 60 mph.
Thousands are stranded by flooding. The National
Guard is involved in transporting thousands from their homes to shelters. Mississippi,
Louisiana and New Orleans are among the worst damages. Looting is also a
problem as flooding damages stores. In Alabama, Florida, Louisiana,
Mississippi, Texas and Arkansas there are over 800000 without power. Due to the
last fatal hurricane Katrina, where 1,800 died, new levees were built in New
Orleans that have protected many in this new storm.
