ARCHDIOCESE OF MELBOURNE REPORT: Friday 10 February 2012
Archbishop Hart announced today that Monsignor Greg Bennet has been
appointed Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia for the Archdiocese of
Melbourne. This follows the recent announcement that Pope Benedict has appointed
Bishop Les Tomlinson Bishop of Sandhurst. The Archbishop also announced that
Very Reverend Dr Terence Curtin PP, Greythorn has been appointed Episcopal Vicar
for the Eastern Region from 28 February 2012. The Archbishop said Father Curtin
will officiate at Confirmations in the Eastern Region, attend the regular Curia
meetings and be a point of reference for the parishes of the Region.
