We follow Mary from the day the Archangel Gabriel came to ask her
to become the Mother of Christ, to the day she was crowned Queeny of Heaven

How to Pray Rosary

The Rosary is made up of twenty "mysteries" representing the significant events or moments in the life of Jesus and Mary., Since the Apostolic Letter Rosarium Virginis Mariae, these mysteries have been grouped into four series.


The first contains joyful mysteries (recited on Mondays and Saturdays); the second, the mysteries of light (Thursdays); the third, the sorrowful mysteries (Tuesdays and Fridays); and the fourth, the glorious mysteries (Wednesdays and Sundays).

Recitation of Holy Rosary:


1. Make the Sign of the Cross, and recite the Apostles Creed.
2. Recite the Our Father.
3. Recite the Hail Mary three times.
4. Recite the Glory Be to the Father.
5. Recall the first Rosary Mystery, after a short pause of reflection, recite the Our Father.
6. Recite the Hail Mary ten times, and meditate on the Mystery.
7. Recite the Glory Be to the Father.
8. Recite the Fatima prayer.
9. Recall the second Rosary Mystery; recite the Our Father, and repeat the steps 6 to 8. Follow the similar manner to recall the third, the fourth and the fifth Rosary Mystery.
10. After the fifth Mystery is completed, recite the Hail Holy Queen. Make the Sign of the Cross at the end of the prayer.
At the beginning of each decade, announce the "mystery" to be contemplated, for example, the first joyful mystery is "The Annunciation".
After a short pause for reflection, recite the "Our Father", ten "Hail Mary’s" and the "Glory be to the Father".
An invocation may be added after each decade.
At the end of the Rosary, the Loreto Litany or some other Marian prayer is recited.
