On Friday 22 July, the new Language Centre at Catholic Regional College St Albans was opened by Bill Shorten MP, Federal Member for Maribyrnong and blessed by Bishop Vincent Long OFM Conv. The new facility, funded through the Federal Government's Building the Education Revolution scheme, will further enhance the College's ability to provide language support in the form of individual and small group classes.
Catholic Regional College St Albans currently has students from over 40 countries, including a significant number with limited English skills. The College currently offers two LOTE languages in the curriculum.
